District Level Yoga Olympiad 2025 – Charaideo District

The District Level Yoga Olympiad 2025 of Charaideo district was successfully held at DIET, Charaideo, Sonari premises from 8th–9th May, 2025. The program was inaugurated by Biman Chandra Dutta, Principal of DIET, Charaideo, who delivered a valuable speech on the importance of the event.

In the yoga workshop-cum-competition, Mr. Dipak Gogoi and Mr. Bhaskar Gogoi, both national yoga players and referees, trained and guided the participants and selected them for the State Level Yoga Olympiad 2025.

The main objectives of the District Level Yoga Olympiad 2025 were to encourage a positive and healthy lifestyle and to promote physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being among the students. The event aimed to foster the daily practice of yoga, make it an integral part of school education, provide a platform for identifying budding talent, and prepare students for higher-level participation.

Four participants were selected to represent Charaideo district at the State Level Yoga Olympiad 2025, to be organized by SCERT, Assam.

The program concluded with a meeting where the resource persons offered advice and extended their best wishes to the student participants. Mr. Mondeep Chetia, Lecturer of Physical Education at DIET, Charaideo, Sonari, coordinated the program.
