“HOMOYE JODI THIKONA BISARE” – ALUMNI ALBUM INITIATIVE 2024

At DIET, Sonari, Sivasagar, the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme commenced in 2012. Since then, a significant number of trainees have successfully completed their courses and have been engaged in various educational and service-oriented roles.

To preserve and celebrate this legacy, Senior Lecturer Deepa Rani Gogoi, under the guidance of Principal Mr. Biman Chandra Dutta, conceptualized and curated an alumni profile album titled “Homoye Jodi Thikona Bisare”. A total of nine volumes have been meticulously prepared to chronicle the enrollment data, course completion details, and professional engagement of alumni across the years.

This initiative aims to maintain a living and functional record of DIET’s alumni, reflecting their contributions to the field of education and society at large. It also serves as a model for structured documentation and thoughtful archival practices within teacher education institutions.
