Webinar on Awareness Programme on the Use of Online E-Resources
A webinar titled “Awareness Programme on the Use of Online E-Resources” was organised by DIET Sivasagar, Sonari in collaboration with the Assam College Librarians Association (ICT Cell) on 24/07/2020 for the students and faculty members of DIET Sivasagar, Sonari and Bongaigaon B.Ed. College.
The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Deepa Rani Gogoi, Lecturer; Mr. Dhruba Jyoti Borah, Lecturer, DIET Sivasagar, Sonari; and Mrs. Achala Das, Librarian, Bongaigaon B.Ed. College.
The resource persons for the webinar were:
- Prof. Sanjay Kumar Singh, HOD, Dept. of Library and Information Science, Gauhati University
- Dr. Prasanta Kumar Deka, Librarian, KC Das Commerce College
- Dr. Birender Pal, Coordinator, ICT Cell, ACLA and Librarian, Kaliabor College, Assam
The resource persons shared a wealth of insights on the importance and effective use of online E-Resources in the field of education. The online programme was co-hosted by the organisers and coordinators.
The event concluded successfully with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Deepa Rani Gogoi, Lecturer, DIET Sivasagar, Sonari.
