Cultural Procession

From 3rd to 5th January 2025, the 6th Central Charaideo Conference–2025 of the Tai Ahom Yuva Parishad, Assam (TAYPA) was successfully held with a three-day colourful programme at the Chaolung Siu Ka Pha Samannay Kshetra in Sonari, Charaideo district.

As part of the final day’s agenda, a grand cultural procession was taken out from the Sonari public playground to the Chaolung Siu Ka Pha Samannay Kshetra, Bhojo. Trainees from the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Charaideo, Sonari also participated in the procession.

The theme presented by the trainees was “The Indian Education System: From the Past to the Present.” The Indian education system was divided into four segments—Gurukul, Tol, Traditional Schools, and Modern Education—and each segment was beautifully depicted. The creative presentation by the trainees added a unique dimension to the entire procession.
