Report on Teacher's Performance Assessment - Diet Charaideo

REPORT ON TEACHERS' PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT (January-March’20)

The Teachers’ Performance Assessment in Sivasagar district was completed according to the guidelines provided by SCERT and NCERT. At the very onset there was an orientation delivered by SCERT for the selected District co-ordinators of the various DIETs of Assam on 21.01.2020. It was instructed by the resource personalities of SCERT that 20 Upper Primary level schools and 5 numbers of teachers from each school belonging to the rural, urban and tea garden sectors, would be selected for the programme, which would ultimately be rounded off as 100 numbers of teachers. The Principals of concerned DIETs along with the Coordinators would then select Observers from the faculty members of DIET to conduct the assessment process. DIET Sivasagar has followed all the rules and regulations provided by SCERT ardently. The coordinators of the programme were: Dr.Bishnupriya Saikia (Principal i/c) and Mrs Parinita Hazarika (Lecturer PSTE) of DIET Sivasagar, Sonari Assam. The Observers who were chiefly the faculty members of DIET Sivasagar, also visited the selected schools to orient the teachers on self-assessment and then started the process of data collection minutely by following the guidelines given by the resource personalities of SCERT and as directed in the teachers’ self-analysis booklets.
