On the Occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ a pledge taking ceremony against Drug Abuse under the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ formulated by Ministry of Social justice and empowerment, Government of India was organized by DIET Sivasagar, Sonari on 12th August’2022 in the DIET premises. The programme co-ordinator addressing the gathering of faculty members, office, staffs and trainees . He delivered a speech on drug abuse and addiction to such substance and the preventive measures. Esteemed Principal Mr. Rajen Dutta administered the oath taking session and all attendees took oath against Drug Abuse as standard prescribed Para in the order published by the Ministry of Social justice and empowerment, Govt. of India.
