Residential Orientation Programme on Teaching Methodology

A three-day Residential Orientation Programme on Teaching Methodology for Science and Mathematics teachers was organized by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) in association with the Assam Science Society and the State Academic Council, Assam. The programme was held from 20th to 22nd May 2024 at Royal Global University, Guwahati.

The objective of the training programme was to familiarize teachers with the effective use of the Teacher Energized Resource Manual (TERM) to support classroom transactions aligned with a competency-based framework. TERM aims to provide teachers with structured, competency-aligned educational resources linked to NCERT textbooks, ultimately helping in achieving the desired learning outcomes and fostering the development of essential learner competencies.

Faculty members from DIET Sivasagar, Ms. Deepa Rani Gogoi (Senior Lecturer) and Ms. Dreamly Dutta (Lecturer), participated in this training programme.
