A Visit to the Historical Place – Namphake, Naharkatia, Assam

Field trip is an important part of education. It helps convert experiences from theory into practice. DIET has always aimed to train student trainees in alignment with the rising demands of society.

This time, DIET organized an educational field visit to a historical site — Namphake, Naharkatia, Assam on 10th January 2025.

The coordinators planned the visit with the objective of gathering valuable information related to the place while also including a recreational picnic experience for the trainees.

Places of interest visited during the trip included:

• Namphake Buddhist Monastery
• Namphake Ethnic Village
• Buddhist Museum and Library of Namphake Literature
• Picnic Spot near Buridihing River
