District Level Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (DLBVP) 2026 – Sivasagar District

DIET Charaideo successfully organized the District Level Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (DLBVP) 2026 for Sivasagar District on 3rd June 2026 at Thanuram Gogoi Memorial Higher Secondary School, Station Chariali, Sivasagar. The programme provided a platform for students to showcase their scientific knowledge, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving abilities through various science and mathematics-based exhibits and models. A total of 14 schools from across Sivasagar District participated in the exhibition, presenting innovative ideas aimed at developing scientific temper and encouraging experiential learning among students. Following the evaluation of the exhibits, five groups were shortlisted to represent Sivasagar District at the State Level Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (SLBVP) 2026. The exhibits were evaluated by Dr. Pabitra Kumar Kalita, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Sibsagar University, Joysagar, Sivasagar, Assam, and Mr. Zakir Hussain, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Sibsagar Girls’ College, Sivasagar, Assam. Their expert assessment and valuable observations contributed significantly to the successful selection process. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Biman Chandra Dutta, Principal, DIET Charaideo. The event was coordinated by Ms. Dreamly Dutta, Lecturer, DIET Charaideo and District Coordinator, DLBVP 2026, with the support of Mr. Shauvik Chandra Das, Lecturer, DIET Charaideo and Assistant Coordinator, DLBVP 2026. The programme marked an important initiative towards promoting scientific curiosity, innovation, creativity, and analytical thinking among students while providing young learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their ideas and scientific understanding through practical models and exhibits.
