CELEBRATION OF SHILPI DIVAS AT DIET CHARAIDEO

Shilpi Divas was celebrated on 17th January with a colourful and culturally enriching programme at the auditorium of DIET Charaideo. The programme was organized under the patronage of the Honourable Principal, Mr. Biman Chandra Dutta, and aimed to pay tribute to the legendary artist Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in honour of Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala, symbolizing reverence for his invaluable contributions to Assamese art, culture, and literature.

On the occasion, Ms. Binita Gogoi, Lecturer, highlighted the life, ideals, and artistic journey of the multi-talented visionary who sowed the seeds of creativity in the cultural sphere and paved the way for the flourishing of art, literature, music, and cinema in Assam. Her address reflected upon his enduring legacy and inspirational role in nurturing creative consciousness.

The programme was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Bhaskar Jyoti Das, Lecturer, DIET Charaideo. The celebration concluded on a reflective note, inspiring participants to uphold the artistic values and cultural ideals propagated by Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala.
