DIET Sivasagar celebrated the Rabha Divas in online mode as the state is not freed from Covid pandemic. The program conducted through Google Meet where faculties and D.El.Ed. trainees of 2nd and 4th semesters enthusiastically participated. The inaugural speech was delivered by respected Principal,(i/c)Ranjen Dutta, stating the life and contributions of Bishnu Prasad Rabha . Lecturer Majit Chetia delivered a speech on the works and philosophy of Rabha Divas .Trainees from both the semesters delivered short speeches. Essay competition was organised where Lecturer Murchana Bora and Lecturer Sangeeta Bora chaired as judges respectively. For the successful completion of the program ET faculty Deepa Rani Gogoi and trainees Animesh Borgohain, Rupam Handique , Ronit Rajak provided the technical support. The program went live on Facebook .It was looked over by Debasis Phukan..The program finally concluded with a vote of thanks by Nilanjana Tamuli.
