FAREWELL PROGRAMME FOR RETIRED TEACHERS AT NIJ KHALOI GHOGURA UPPER PRIMARY SCHOOL

On Friday, 24th October 2025, a heartfelt farewell programme was organized at Nij Khaloi Ghogura Upper Primary School under the Sonari Education Block of Charaideo District. The programme was jointly arranged by the Nij Khaloi Ghogura ‘Ka’, ‘ক’, and ‘গ’ clusters to collectively bid farewell to 36 recently retired teachers who had dedicated their lives to the service of education.

The occasion was graced by the Principal of DIET Charaideo, Sonari, Shri Biman Chandra Dutta, who attended the programme as a distinguished guest. His presence added dignity and significance to the event.

During his address, the Hon’ble Principal expressed his deep gratitude and respect towards the retired teachers for their lifelong commitment and unwavering dedication to the teaching profession. He highlighted how, throughout their long and illustrious careers, the teachers overcame numerous hardships and challenges prevalent in the region and illuminated the lives of thousands of learners with the light of knowledge.

He further emphasized that their selfless service has made a lasting contribution not only to the advancement of education but also to the overall progress of society. Concluding his address, Shri Dutta extended his heartfelt best wishes to all the retired teachers for the beginning of a new, peaceful, and hopeful journey in the next phase of their lives.
