Funny Tales of Our Grandparents

On 23rd September 2024, a handcrafted book titled “Funny Tales of Our Grandparents”, featuring amusing and heartwarming tales from our elderly folks, was formally inaugurated by Mr. Biman Chandra Dutta, Principal of DIET Sivasagar, Sonari, and Prof. Gopal Ch. Hazarika, retired Professor of Mathematics, Dibrugarh University.

This unique compilation is the result of efforts by teacher-trainees under the mentorship of Mrs. Parinita Hazarika, Lecturer at DIET Sivasagar, Sonari. The book beautifully highlights cherished memories and delightful moments spent in the warmth and affection of grandparents during childhood.

The publication has been warmly received and is regarded as a valuable addition to the DIET library collection.
