“XOMOYE JODI THIKONA BISARE” – A GLIMPSE INTO THE ALUMNI OF DIET (2012–2020)

The alumni profile album titled “Xomoye Jodi Thikona Bisare”, featuring the batch-wise alumni from 2012 to 2020 of DIET, Sonari, Sivasagar, was formally inaugurated on 7th May 2024 by Mr. Biman Chandra Dutta, Principal of the institute.

This album captures the professional journeys of former trainees, reflecting their contributions and achievements beyond their time at the institute.

Objective: The primary objective of this initiative is to document the diverse activities and professional engagements of the alumni and maintain a comprehensive record of their roles in serving society after completing their training at DIET.

To facilitate the compilation of this data, Senior Lecturer Deepa Rani Gogoi developed a Google Form covering various aspects related to the alumni’s professional journey. The form was shared year-wise through WhatsApp groups (from 2012 to 2020) to ensure wider participation.

This thoughtful initiative has fostered a renewed sense of connection within the DIET community, strengthening ties between the institute, its alumni, and various educational stakeholders.

The activity underscores the importance of systematic planning and organized designing for implementing similar initiatives at both the micro and macro levels. It also reinforces the idea that effective cooperation, coordination, and structured execution are vital for the harmonious development of educational programs.
