Interactive Session with Renowned Mathematicians of Assam

An interactive session was organized by DIET Sivasagar, Sonari from 8th March to 26th April 2024 in online mode, focusing on the lives and contributions of renowned mathematicians of Assam.

During these sessions, the teacher-trainees of the institute engaged in lively and insightful conversations with noted mathematicians from IIT Guwahati, NEHU, Tezpur University, Dibrugarh University, and other reputed institutions.

The objectives of the sessions included:

• Making the learning of Arithmetic more engaging for students.
• Expanding the scope of Mathematics among learners.
• Clarifying subject-related queries of the students.

The sessions were conducted in a well-planned and organized manner under the supervision of Mrs. Deeparani Gogoi, Senior Lecturer of the institute.
