TLM Distribution Mela

Considering the importance of TLMs in the teaching learning process, on 4th January 2025, a Teaching-Learning Material Distribution Mela was organized in the premises of the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Charaideo. The teaching-learning materials prepared by the trainees of the institution were distributed among various schools under the jurisdiction of the institute. The event was coordinated by Senior Lecturer Mrs. Runima Saikia Dutta.

The solemn event was inaugurated by Mr. Biman Chandra Dutta, Principal of DIET, Sivasagar, who, in his address, elaborated deeply on the significance of teaching-learning materials in the instructional process.

The event witnessed the presence of senior lecturers, lecturers, staff members, teacher trainees of the institution, as well as invited teachers and students from various lab schools of DIET Charaideo.

The invited teachers highly appreciated the initiative taken by DIET and expressed their willingness to undertake similar steps in their own schools, tailored to the needs of their students.

During the event, Subhraneel Handique a student of Dolbagan Higher Secondary School, was felicitated for his outstanding performance at the national level after being selected from Charaideo district for the National Children’s Science Congress.
