Two-Day District-Level Training Programme on Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Sivasagar, Sonari, organized a two-day district-level training programme on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for elementary school teachers on 1st and 3rd October 2026 at Alimur Jnanodoy High School, Sivasagar.

The programme aimed to enhance the quality of school education by strengthening teachers' capacity to use ICT tools and gadgets effectively in the teaching-learning process.

The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Deepa Rani Gogoi, Senior Lecturer, DIET Sivasagar, Sonari. Sri Pranjal Pratim Gogoi, an alumnus of DIET Sivasagar, served as the Resource Person and provided guidance on the effective integration of ICT in classroom teaching.

The training programme provided a valuable platform for professional development, helping elementary school teachers strengthen their digital competencies and explore technology-supported teaching practices to improve classroom engagement and learning outcomes.
